Refund Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate the cancellation of events. In the unlikely event of cancellations, customers may refer to the sections below. 

1. Cancellation Process

All cancellation requests must be intimated to the company via email through weddings@evenx.in. Please note that the company shall not accept intimation of cancellation via any other means.

2. Cancellation Notice Period

2.1 Should the event be cancelled for any reason within 15 days of the scheduled date, the following provisions will be enforced:

  • Artist & Service Fee – 100% payable on all Entertainment Artists & Professional Services Cos
  • Decor & Technicals – 50% payable on all infrastructure costs
  • Any remaining balance, after the deductions mentioned above, will be refunded

2.2 Should the event be cancelled for any reason within 30 days of the scheduled date, the following provisions will be enforced:

  • Artist & Service Fee – 60% payable on all Entertainment Artists & Professional Services Cost
  • Decor & Technicals – 35% payable on all infrastructure costs
  • Any remaining balance, after the deductions mentioned above, will be refunded

NOTE – The refunds shall only be disbursed after deducting the cancellation charges levied by the vendors/merchants, plus GST.

3. Refund

3.1 Refund Processing Time – Refunds will be processed within 45 days from the date of approval of the cancellation request

3.2 Non-refundable Fee – Venue bookings, vendor payments and applicable TDS/GST charges, may be non-refundable, depending on the circumstances.

3.3 Mode of Refund – Refunds will be issued via a pre-decided and mutually agreed-upon mode.

4. Rescheduling Events

In the unforeseen event where the customer requests rescheduling of events, all efforts will be made to accommodate the request. Please note that rescheduling depends entirely on the circumstances that prevail at the time and cannot be claimed as a right.

5. Force Majeure

The company will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any promised services, which constitutes a cancellation of event(s) due to any of the following causes (which causes are hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure”), to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy. However, the company shall strive to assist the customer in identifying an appropriate solution.

6. Vendor Contracts

Cancellations made by the vendors/merchants engaged as third parties for the event shall be handled in accordance with their respective contracts and policies.

7. Changes to the Policy

The company reserves the right to modify or update this refund and cancellation policy. Any changes will be communicated to the customers in a timely and transparent manner.
